Yes, only Registered applicants will be able to attend our Open Mornings and take the Entrance Assessments.
To start the process, please first complete our Enquiry Form, and further details will then be emailed to you within 24 hours.
No, we do not have a specific closing date for admissions, however, the majority of Entrance Assessments are completed during the Open Mornings.
We do try to be as flexible as possible and accept students throughout the academic year.
No, we do not have scholarship or bursary schemes.
No, whilst we encourage siblings to join the school, we do not offer any discounts for siblings.

How to Apply Entrance Requirements
Yes, all lessons are taught in English, with the exception of Modern Foreign Languages.
No, unfortunately we are not able to send any sample papers prior to the Entrance Assessment.
Yes, if an applicant is successful in their Entrance Assessment, they will be invited for an interview either in person, or via Skype.
We aim to complete the admission process and inform applicants of the outcome within two weeks of the Entrance Assessment being taken.
After an appropriate number of places have been offered in certain Grades, we may also offer a small number of waiting-list places to students who have reached an appropriate standard in the Entrance Assessments.
Students at TISB are placed in Grades according to their age on 31 August of the year of entry.

The total number of students at TISB is over 1100, with over 280 in PY (Pre-KG - Grade 5) and over 820 in the Senior School (Grades 6 - 12).
We have more than 325 boarders.
We have three boarding houses:
GIH - Girls Boarding House
BIH - Senior Boys Boarding House
JBIH - Junior Boys Boarding House
TISB has approximately 26 teaching staff in Primary Years and 115 teaching staff in Senior School.
Yes, students will be allocated to one of our four Houses, Pioneers, Explorers, Discoverers or Voyagers and will remain in that House throughout their time at TISB.
House Points are awarded throughout the year based on student behaviour and accomplishments, and are also gained through various House Competitions. Points are tallied and a House Cup is awarded at the end of the academic year,
Students have the opportunity to participate in athletics, cricket, football, hockey, swimming, basketball, table tennis, badminton, volley ball, tennis, and throwball.
Sport is included in the timetable for all students.
TISB offers a wide range of around 45 different after-school activities and sports and further details can be found below.
Absolutely! We have five full time College Counsellors who work with our students to ensure a smooth transition to university or or college.

Buses are available to bring students into school from various points around Bangalore. Buses for the return journeys leave after lessons, and there are a limited number that also leave after the after-school activities have finished.
