Art

Art at TISB offers opportunities to experiment with a wide variety of media and techniques including ceramics, painting, drawing and printing.  We aim to help the students build their confidence and find ways to express their natural creativity.

Exploring the artworks of various cultures gives a broader understanding of what art can be and of the world surrounding them and as students move through the school skills are encouraged and honed.  Students learn how to develop and communicate their individual ideas and concepts through to fully resolved outcomes. 

In the Senior School students may choose to follow the Cambridge IGCSE Arts and IB Visual Arts courses which often lead to this subject being taken up later at degree level, subsequently leading to careers such as fashion and textiles, product design and architecture.
