Application Procedure
We hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection. All applicants are subject to a rigorous screening process that includes verification of qualifications, obtaining two supervisory references (including current employer's) and obtaining current and previous Police Checks. MATHEMATICS TEACHER
We have an immediate opening for an experienced IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics teacher to join our thriving Mathematics Department. The successful candidate should be comfortable teaching students from Grade 6 through to IGCSE and IBDP. A willingness to be fully involved in the extra-curricular life of a busy boarding school is essential.
He/she works as part of the department team to provide effective teaching and learning programmes focused on improving student engagement and achievement in one or more Learning Areas. The teacher actively promotes and reinforces the TISB Vision and Mission and exhibits professional responsibility at all times. He/she is a positive and professional role model, an expert in their subject area and contributes to the school through their professional relationships with students, parents and the wider community.

- Experience in guiding students through projects and research work
- Ability to create effective lesson plans and assignments
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A willingness to develop and grow professionally
- 1-2 years of IGCSE and IBDP experience will be an added advantage

- Supervision of Internal assessments and Extended essays.
- Supervision of CAS activities as allotted

Position description:
- To oversee, manage and provide accountability for the whole school contracts
- Manage Security, Transport, Landscaping, Pest Control, Catering, Housekeeping
- Provide day-to-day management of the Estates team
- Contributing to the short, medium and long term strategic development of the Estates Plan and leading the implementation of these plans
- Develop environmentally sustainable initiatives in all aspects of the TISB campus

Professional Development and the TISB Training Academy
The TISB Training Academy offers scholarship programmes and training courses to seek best practice, up-to-date thinking and professional development.
Ongoing training for staff is offered in a variety of ways throughout the academic year including the new staff induction programme, whole staff conferences and external training programmes and workshops.
