International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
During Grades 11 and 12 at TISB students will study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). The Programme is a rigorous two-year, pre-university course designed to provide students with a well-rounded, internationally regarded programme of study. Your son or daughter will need to maximise on the independent learning skills developed throughout their school career. There will also be plenty of opportunity to create a healthy balance with co-curricular and sporting activities.
At TISB we recognise the differences between the International Baccalaureate and the Indian CBSE and ICSE curriculums. Students transferring from the Indian curriculums will be given support in the initial stages of transition in Grade 11.
Greater responsibility and the opportunity to develop leadership skills in prefect roles is given during these two years and it is a long-standing tradition that Grade 12 students organize and oversee the running of the annual two-day charity festival known as ‘Vivum’, that raises much needed funds for local causes. Around 25 external schools are invited to TISB to compete in various events including sports tournaments, poetry slams, fashion shows, music, photography and dance competitions. Vivum allows students to utilize and nurture their leadership, negotiation and event organizing skills.
