There For U - a charity set up by Manya, Grade 10
Manya, Grade 10, has had a busy summer - she firstly formed a foundation called There For U (TFU) for the Terra, Flora, Forna, Us and then went on to form 'Quicksilver' the first all-girl rock pop band in Ludhiana. Towards the end of the summer Manya brought both together by organising a fundraising rock concert where the band played their first gig.
TFU's first mission has been to assist with the transportation of sick animals around the city of Ludhiana, and after gaining 5.25 Lakhs in sponsorship, 1.5 Lakhs in donations and 3 Lakhs in ticket sales the PawMobile has been purchased and is now in action.
The PawMobile is a vehicle being used to transport stray and unwell animals to enable fast and productive treatment. Further information about the PawMobile can be found here: There For U
