Ration Square - helping those in need
Medha, Grade 12, and friends have set up Ration Square to raise money to assist the most vulnerable during the COVID-19 pandemic. Medha gives details below, please do help if you are able.
The COVID-19 lockdown has brought to the forefront the vulnerability of the weakest sections of society. It has driven millions into poverty and starvation. It is Ration Square’s mission to mobilize and leverage contacts in the privileged sections of society to provide ration kits to the ones affected most by the current pandemic.
A few friends of mine reached out to me regarding this initiative, and I was instantly captivated with the ideals of this project. I realized just how privileged we are and also the responsibility that comes along with it. It has taught me to value money and to understand the difference between necessity and need. I took this opportunity and thought this was my way to give back to the community in a way that helps those in need.
In order to pledge to donate these kits one would have to fill out the Google form. Donations can be made to the following number using Paytm or Google Pay: +919845025144 (Aman Mittal)
In these challenging times no amount of relief is sufficient. I request you to help me and garner more relief kits and support. Please check out their website:
