Bangalore Police receive the Coronabox as a thank you
Shaunak and Kushagra, both about to start in Grade 11 have kept themselves very busy, delivering their corona boxes.
The boys decided they wanted to help policemen fighting on the front line for public safety, so developed the idea to supply them with a 'Coronabox'. The boys funded this idea with their own savings.
The Coronabox is a simple package designed to give back to the essential service providers - the Covid Warriors.
The two boys used funds saved from winning various competitions in order to show their appreciation for the work the policemen are doing.
Each Coronabox contains a chips packet, a biscuit packet, a tetra pack juice, a water bottle and an extra reusable cotton mask.
On 16 July, the boys distributed the boxes in Bangalore south police Zones, distributing them to 11 checkposts between Adugodi police station, Madiwala police station, Koramangala police station and HSR police station, while wearing their full PPE and keeping to social distancing guidelines.
A total of 200 such Coronaboxes were distributed by Shaunak and Kushagra with help of police inspector Dileep Kumar and an accompanying police van.
Bangalore Police posted this on their Facebook page recently.
Congratulations to the boys on this great and worthy achievement.
