Trisha, Grade 11, made a Girl Up Teen Advisor

Congratulations to Trisha, Grade 11, who has been picked as one of 25 adolescent girls across the world to serve on the board of Girl Up, a United Nations Foundation initiative for gender equality, as a Teen Advisor.

Every June, after a rigorous application process, the new class of Girl Up Teen Advisors is announced.  The cohort works closely with both Girl Up and United Nations Foundation Staff on leadership development training and advancing Girl Up's mission and programs.  They also help lead the annual Girl Up Leadership summit in Washington D.C. every July (although this year it is virtual) and represent Girl Up in the media and add local events.
