Happy Friday everyone!

This week, senior school had the chance to resume physical classes, and we wanted to know the students’ thoughts on finally being able to reenter the vibrant and sprawling TISB campus. Below, we’ve noted down how some of the students felt being back on campus, as well as what this means to them, whether in regards to academic focus, social interaction, or extracurricular facilities.

“Sometimes, it can be hard to focus during online classes due to the sheer number of distractions. That’s why I prefer being back in classes where I find it easier to interact with my studies and pay attention.” - Ananya, Grade 12 Student

“The campus is a great change of pace from being cooped up in my room all day. I can play football or basketball during breaks, and the atmosphere is so much more energetic.” - Shrey, Grade 11 Student

“Being able to see the students in class and really connect with them in class while seeing their reactions is very refreshing.” - Ms Jecinta Mary, Chemistry Department

“I like spending time with my friends both inside and outside the classroom, which is why physical school is a lot more fun.” - Kushagra, Grade 12 Student

Being back on campus is a completely different experience from learning online, and we’re glad that our peers are enjoying it just as much as we are. The TISB campus in particular has an immense amount to offer, with facilities for every sport from an astroturf football pitch to a cricket pavilion that students can take full advantage of to explore their interests. Furthermore, being in the presence of our friends, teachers, and classmates makes the environment more interactive and engaging while allowing us to develop bonds with the people around us. As always, we’d love it if anyone wanted to reach out to us whether to talk to us or ask any questions!

We’ll see you after the weekend,
Yash and Anvita, PR Prefects, Grade 12
