I am proud that as a teacher I can influence the lives of young kids in a positive way! – Ms Riji, History Teacher
Out of her 22 years of experience in the field of teaching, Ms Riji has been working with TISB for 12 years. She joined the TISB because of the school's good reputation, the quality of its teaching, supportive management and leadership, and, of course, the history department. As a teacher with great passion, Ms Riji finds great pride and joy in her students. “Their ability to understand, the logical connections between ideas, the analysing skills, interpreting, applying creative thoughts is quiet mesmerizing”, says Ms Riji, who is always elevated and encouraged by her students’ successes, commitment and their selfless attitudes. “I love to teach students on critical thinking. Every time they come with better or new concept over the previous one.”
Eagerly yearning and looking forward to a pandemic-free time, Ms Riji is longing to spend time with her students back in physical school. “I zealously await to have my students back in the classrooms, to interact and exchange our thoughts and experiences, and also making us feel confident and good”, says Ms Riji, who is looking forward to making this academic year a memorable and a productive one.
