I feel most proud when I meet with ex-students and learn that they have achieved wonderful things in their life – Ms Bhaswati, HOD ESS, IGCSE Coordinator
Ms Bhaswati has been teaching for the last 18 years and began her journey with TISB in 2008. Now being Head of the Environmental Systems and Society Department, and IGCSE Grade 10 Coordinator at TISB, Ms Bhaswati enjoys the warmth of her colleagues and the love and respect of the students. “I have worked here for so long, it is just like family”, says Ms Bhaswati, who lives on campus together with her husband and daughter.
Ms Bhaswati is always impressed and strongly motivated by learning about her students’ achievements. She really likes being back with her students in the classrooms, hoping that one day the pandemic will just be a part of our memory. “I feel physical school is essential for young people as, apart from being in classes and learning better, they also need to be with their peers for emotional and social well-being.”
