World Scholars’ Cup Success

Huge congratulations go to Manya and Nydile, from TISB, and their team-mate Mae Chew, from Malaysia, for coming third overall in the World Scholars’ Cup final, held at Yale University in November. The theme for this year’s competition was Entangled World, within which there were 6 subjects, History, Special Area, Literature, Science and Technology, Art and Music, Social Studies. The competition included over 2300 scholars in over 700 teams from 58 different participating countries.

The girls also each won individual medals in Debating, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Bowl (team challenge) and Scholar’s Challenge as well as being crowned in third place overall in the Final ‘Tournament of Champions’. We are certainly very proud of your success.
