Many studies show that physically active people can avoid health risk factors – Mr Ashok, PE Teacher
Following his education history, Mr Ashok began working with PE and Hockey at different schools in both Tamilnadu and Karnataka in 2010. After exploring different opportunities, he had the pleasure to join TISB in April 2014 and has now completed 8 years. “I am so proud to teach PE, teaching health and fitness to younger generations, it is so important for their healthier lifestyle”, says Mr Ashok, who is happy about working and living at TISB, a high standard school that always sets a new and good learning experience in the beautiful campus landscape. “Spreading health and fitness awareness to students and seeing them leading the healthy lifestyle is so proud of my work.”
Since being a teacher, and especially a PE teacher, Mr Ashok is really pleased to have more students back at school. “I am extremely happy that students are back to school, observing the students really enjoying sports with their friends and taking part in various sports activities”, says Mr Ashok, who is happy to have an opportunity to finally be able to be physically active after such a long time of COVID. “Health is the most precious thing in life and yet we often take it for granted. Without health we have nothing. Be grateful for your health”, says Mr Ashok and explain how studies show the importance of physical activity and how it helps people to avoid health risk. As such he encourages students, as well as other people, to stay active: “Do exercise at least three hours a week.”
